Christian Castro and His Mentor Elizabeta Nemeth Awarded Gilliam Fellowship from Howard Hughes Medical Institute

Chris Castro and his mentor Ella Nemeth became one of 50 student-adviser pairs nationwide chosen by HHMI as Gilliam Fellows.  These student-adviser pairs are recognized for their outstanding research as well as their commitments to advancing equity and inclusion in science. Administered by HHMI’s Center for the Advancement of Science Leadership and Culture (CASLC), the Gilliam Fellows Program will provide each student-adviser pair with 3 years of support for the student’s dissertation research.
