At the biennial conference of the International Bioiron Society, held in Heidelberg, Germany, May 5-10, 2019, our Elizabeta Nemeth received an award for her pioneering work in unravelling the mechanism of hepcidin and ferroportin in health and disease and contribution to IBIS.
